TASTE Comanche Buffalo products taste great! The care
of our buffalo exceeds industry standards. They are fed plenty of natural
feeds and are not subjected to harsh conditions. We feed hay raised
on our own ranches. Most people interviewed feel buffalo is the most
flavorful meat they have ever tasted, with a sweet and rich flavor.
Buffalo is naturally flavorful and tender and can be prepared much the
same as beef without special handling.
VALUE Buffalo falls into the gourmet or specialty meat category at your
supermarket or meat market. The value of buffalo is not what you pay,
but what you get in return. Nutritionally you are getting more protein
and nutrients with fewer calories and less fat. Buffalo is a dense meat
that tends to satisfy you more while eating less.
NATURAL Our buffalo are not subjected to questionable drugs, chemicals
or hormones. Comanche Buffalo feels strongly about this and does not
use hormones, artificial growth stimulants or sub-therapeutic drugs.
NUTRITION Research has shown that the meat from buffalo is a highly
nutrient dense food because of the proportion of protein, fat, minerals
and fatty acids to its caloric value. Comparisons to other meat sources
have also shown that buffalo has a greater concentration of iron zinc
as well as some of the essential fatty acids necessary for human well
being.
Comanche Buffalo also provides boxed primal cuts
to butchers and meat markets. Ask your butcher to inquire about Comanche
Buffalo’s
primal cuts.
