Ron Nance, President & CEO of Comanche Buffalo Co., Lawton, OK was awarded by the Oklahoma Bison Association the distinguished award of "Breeder of the Year"  at their annual show and sale held on November 15th & 16th in Shawnee Oklahoma.  As you can see pictured above, his buffalo won numerous ribbons placing as follows:  Two First Place Ribbons for the best Cow and 2 year old Heifer, Four Second Place Ribbons for 2 year old Heifer, 1 year old Heifer, Cow, & Bull, and Two Third Place Ribbons for 2 year old Heifer and Bull Calf; and Reserve Champion in Female Class. In 2003 Comanche Buffalo won six trophies at Oklahoma Bison Association’s Show and Sale. Comanche Buffalo also won the Bronze Trophy at the National Bison Associations 2004 Gold Trophy Show and Sale held in Denver for its entry in the 3 and 4 year old cow class.
